New installation work (immersive video and sound installation) for Right of Passage, at Galeria Enrique Guerrero for Art Baja 2026. A collective of Baja-based artists (Nica Celly, Anna Sorrentino, Brenda Barrera) collide in a raw convergence of distinct histories, working across sound, video, photography, and paint. Each practice pushes against boundaries of identity, territory, and transformation—mapping personal evolutions against the shifting landscape they inhabit.

Project Detail
A right of passage, and a rite of passage, marks a beginning or an ending. It happens when we are allowed, or when we choose, to cross from one state into another, whether that shift is political, social, or environmental.
Every crossing has a threshold.
This work aims to dissolve distraction and shift the attention from the external thresholds to the interior one, using guided meditation as the invitation, and breath as the tool of observation and experience.
